Non-linear micro-mechanical behavior of heterogeneous cement-stabilized macadam

This study aims to examine the internal meso-mechanical behaviour of cement-stabilised macadams subjected loading damage following water immersion. By constructing a numerical analysis model, mechanism water-immersion weakening macadam material and micro-mechanical specimen were analysed. The simulation results compared with laboratory test data. peak stress error was 2.414%, whereas maximum in strain corresponding specimens different immersion durations 3.05%. comparing direction distributions normal tangential contact forces each stage, it found that at approximately 0º, 90º, 180º, 270º much smaller than those other angles.
